This is what you’ve all been waiting for… the final details for the opening event of the Forest Heights Blueberry Festival!

The Pet Parade will begin and end on Holly Court at 1:30 on Saturday, June 26. Please be mindful of the following:

  • All four-legged pets MUST BE ON LEASH.

  • If you are not absolutely certain that your pet is safe for this event, please DO NOT BRING IT.

  • Please DO bring plastic bags to clean up after your pet. (Trash cans will be available at the festival site.)

  • Water will be available at the festival site.

  • Costumes are encouraged!

  • Spectators are encouraged to line the parade route and bring/play music.

  • Ferncliff and Rivermont will NOT be blocked to traffic. So please move to one side as needed to allow cars to pass safely.

Holly Court resident and co-organizer, Ron Hendon, will serve as marshal to lead the procession along the route (see map below). The Pet Parade will be followed by the Blueberry Cook-off at 3 p.m. and The Blueberry Jam concert at 6 p.m.

T-shirt pre-orders have closed. HOWEVER, there will be a limited number of shirts available for purchase on the day of the festival.
