All the images in this collection were created with a flatbed scanner to draw attention to the exquisite potential of plant life.

The artist, Bart King, is a co-founder of the Community Blueberry Project and the Forest Heights Blueberry Festival. The Project aims to strengthen hyper-local community connections and land-stewardship practices in the Oglethorpe Avenue corridor of Athens, Georgia. The Blueberry Festival generates funding for the Project through the celebration of the community’s talent and emerging culture. Together, the two initiatives could become a regenerative cycle that continues to deepen the quality of life and resilience of the community.

A portion of the proceeds from this show will be donated to support the Community Blueberry Project.
